Lando Simonetti, a U.S. fashion designer until 1985, founded La Martina. He returned to Argentina that year. The company initially made saddles and boots for polo, then shirts and caps. 65% of the products' materials are Argentine. Simonetti founded La Martina and the Polo Management Group, which managed polo tournaments.
